My name is Marc Lehman—I am a father of two –a 21 yo daughter and 19 year son and about to celebrate my 24th anniversary in a few weeks to my High School sweetheart.
I am a family therapist by background and run a private practice in CT as well as a virtual practice called U ARE HEARD. We work with middle school, high school and college students to assist them with their emotional needs. We offer help the way young people would prefer, virtually.
Most young people are dealing with high levels of stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues or just generally being overwhelmed by things. These days most therapists are either full and cannot see new people or the therapist is not conveniently located to go see.

Simply jump on our website at www.uareheard.com and fill out a ‘schedule a consult’ form. You will be contacted within 24 hours and often set up with an intake session soon after. I designed the system we use to match all students with the staff member that matches them best. All of my clinicians are hand picked and chosen by me through a rigorous interview and training process. You can feel comfortable your student is in good hands seeing one of our all-star clinicians on my staff.
‘Most young people need a little help sometimes…’ I strongly feel most students would benefit from our services. These days it is hard juggling school, friends, extracurriculars and family. We assist students within their schedule so they don’t have to go out of their way to get some support. Many college students will see us between classes or in the evenings if that works better for them.
Support and counseling should never be hard to get. With the rates of mental health sky rocketing for our youth–easy access to help and addressing things when concerns start is in our job description as parents.
