Restaurants

Prime – for steak (they sometimes have special Wagyu that is unbelievable)

High West –great food and drinks, need to be 21 to enter, can ski in for lunch from PCMR, also have a bar

Riverhorse – best for date night, upscale vibe, very good food (on Resy)

Baan Thai – for Thai (Thai So Good is farther but cheaper)

Five Seeds – best breakfast/lunch, healthy options, very popular

Italian: Versante (at Peaks Hotel) or Cortona (authentic Italian small number tables but out at Kimball )

Deer Valley Grocery – breakfast or lunch sit outside on lake (amazing turkey chili)

Shabu – for cooked Japanese (wagyu hot rock) former Nobu chef

Sushi – Yama at Montage when open is the best, Yuki Yama is solid not epic

Harvest – veggie stuff, good for lunch

Handle – farm to table good food, Baller steak is good, great drinks (Rattlesnake is a good one)

Bars

Montage – Burgers and Bourbon (get the nachos…and bourbon)

No Name Saloon – classic saloon great roof deck

Spur – live music, fun bar

Cabin – big fun bar with multiple floors (latin nights Sundays during ski season), Karaoke and open Mic nights as well
Downstairs – the one lounge/club – fun sometimes when you miss dancing 💃

O’Shucks – locals bar

St Regis Bar – nice view, truffle pizza, Sabre champagne at 5-6pm every day

Apres Ski – The Corner Store (bottom PCMR, live acoustic music), The Bridge Café (Main Street)

Skiing

Deer Valley – perk **NO Snowboarders!! **

Powder day: Canyons side and best powder is 9990 lift and the runs below Cloud Dine (Dreamcatcher/Dreamscape), on Park City side go to Jupiter Bowl and McKonkeys

Normal days: Motherlode lift typically shortest lift lines and McKonkeys as well

Lifts that are slow: Town lift, Pioneer

Lifts that can be super crowded: Silverlode anytime after 11am

Best food on mountain: Cloud Dine (Canyons side), Miner’s Camp (bottom of Silverlode), new BBQ place near bottom of Tombstone

Note: new gondola enables seamless travel from Silverlode  (park city side) to the Canyons side near Iron Mountain

Iron canyon – tough awesome straight uphill hike

Snowtop in deer valley – 40 min up great jordanelle lake views

Mcloud creek trail for nice long run

Brighton three lakes hike (40 min drive but worth it)

Things to do

Park silly Sunday markets (not during covid)

Olympic park – skiers go down ramp and do tricked into a pool on Saturdays in summer

Great local parks (willow) if have kids

Outdoor concerts at deer valley (Wednesday’s) and canyons (saturdays?) – again not during covid

Zip line on PCMR

Sundance – 45 min drive

Mirror lake – hour drive
