Myx Fitness, a dynamic new wellness brand, is partnering with The Local Mom’s Network to host a festive holiday event celebrating all things motherhood while connecting moms with great brands and each other. The event will be held on Thursday, December 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in their gorgeous Greenwich, CT, boutique studio, located at 19 W. Elm St., next door to their sister restaurant, Myx Kitchen. Guests can try this full-body workout, which takes place in a modern, light-filled space with only 6 people, giving them the feel of a personal training session.
The day and evening will include must-have mom products and clothes, targeted fitness classes, talks about parenting and postpartum care and special gifts.
“Partnering with The Local Moms Network and HATCH is a perfect fit for us, because these are brands that are also helping woman live their best lives. Our comprehensive wellness programs help moms (and dads) be their healthiest selves, without taking precious time away from their families,” says Myx co-founder Brent Drake.
The day-long celebration is open to the public and all attendees can shop New York City-based lifestyle maternity brand HATCH. The chic line is meant to be worn during pregnancy and after. “We can’t wait to meet the mamas-to-be and moms of the Greenwich, CT. Like our store in New York City on Bleecker Street (where we host education + community events like Lactation 101), we love providing mamas with clothing to make them feel good but also experiences to build community during this amazing time in their lives,” says founder Ariane Goldman.
Popular kids musician Graham Clarke will be performing for the kids in attendance so moms can mingle and shop. Other innovative partners include Sammy + Nat, a luxury baby and children’s clothing collection, Remedy Bodyworks (which will be offering complimentary cryo-facials to attendees) and The Parent Collective and Better Postpartum, who will be leading discussions on topics from “What to Expect” to post-partum issues.
Attendees will receive a Fjällräven goodie bag filled with curated gift vouchers, beauty and wellness products and more. The Swedish outdoors brand just launched its first Greenwich store on Greenwich Avenue. One of the missions of The Local Moms Network is to support local businesses, so this event is a great opportunity to introduce its network of moms to both Myx Fitness and Fjällräven.
Says Layla Lisiewski, founder of The Local Moms Network, a hyper-local platform in almost 50 suburbs across the US: “We are all about ‘Giving Moms the Gift of Time,’ and this event is definitely going to do that. I’m thrilled to partner with some of the best brands in the parenting space, from revolutionary products to truly helpful services. Of course, we can’t wait to meet all the local moms who stop by!”
